Holiday Season is nearly here so it’s a great time to start planning the marketing/advertising of your products and services for the Christmas season. Here are 12 marketing tips that might help you prepare to Market your business:

Festive Marketing Tips for Christmas:

  1. Create a Facebook Ad Campaign for shoppers over the Christmas Season
  2. Write a Newsletter on Mail chimp and send it to all your clients, this can go a long way, maybe mention some tips in it if you are service driven, a new workshop or course which has been booked, what you have been doing as a business over the year and if you are selling any products mention all the products which you are selling for Christmas.
  3. If you are unsure of a campaign, why not write a Christmas blog attach it to your website and send it out to all your Social Media Channels, if you need ideas on what to write speak to Claire Winter from Cracking Content.
  4. Send out a video Christmas Greeting to your clients I know that there are many creators of video one lady I know is Melanie Perry from Poppy Perry Media who has been doing some great Christmas videos who has a great Christmas offer!
  5. Compile a good Christmas post on Instagram with some good seasonal hashtags, if you are selling a product or service make sure you tag and mention your offers!

  7. Private message the relevant LinkedIn contacts and mention your offers but make sure you personalise each message and have a conversation with each person online.

  9. Change some of the images on your website to make it more seasonal, change your content, make sure your home page is seasonal.
  10. Change the banners on your Social Media platforms to a more seasonal banner particularly your Facebook Business Page, Canva Design is great for creating posts, banners and use Pixabay for stock images.
  11. Plan all your Social Media content and schedule some of the posts on Hootsuite if you are busy attending Christmas events.
  12. Spend a bit of time researching what’s in your industry and check out the competition to see what they have up their sleeves. Try and incorporate these trends into your email marketing to show that you are also on trend.
    Think about some giveaways, stocking fillers maybe an advent calendar, wearing a Christmas jumper for fun posts or share Christmas recipes add a bit of humour.

If appropriate, you can focus on family values for your holiday marketing campaign. When done correctly, your prospects may just naturally warm up to your brand when choosing between competitors.
